Dinner at Pizza San Francisco

I thought of leaving early yesterday but last minute request held me back until 6.45pm. By the time I reached my car, it was 7pm. Since I already planned with hubby to take the kids out to dinner, I was hoping to reach home by 7.30pm.

Traffic was clear when I left Plaza Sentral but the moment I entered NPE, the traffic jam started. After 30minutes stuck in the jam, I saw an ambulance, traffic policemen and motorbikes and people crowding on the left lane.

“Aduh! Accident,” I said. It was a fatal accident and they are waiting for police to come. “Huh! Not a good day,” I said to myself.  In the morning there was a buzz in the office about someone committed suicide but I don’t who.

By the time I reached home, it was almost 8pm and I quickly performed my maghrib prayer. Kids were all ready to go.

The initial plan was to go to Mohd Chan Abdullah Restaurant who specialize in Chinese cuisine. As my husband turned to the Restaurant, Amir said,”I don’t want to eat here.”

Zaki chimed in and said he will drink water only. When my husband heard that, he continued to drive. When I asked him, he just kept quiet. He kept on driving until we reached Pizza San Francisco. When the kids saw Pizza San Francisco, they shouted, “Yes, ayah! Ayah best."  They love to eat at Pizza San Francisco.

Normally when we were there, the kids favorites are Carbonara but last night only Amir and Zara ordered Carbonara. Zaki said he wanted orange juice only and Syafiq said he didn’t want anything. I know them very well so I order chicken fingers for both of them. For me and hubby, we ordered Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Mushroom. Oh we order pizza too.

For drinks, me and Zara ordered lime special, Zaki ordered orange juice and the rest ordered lime juice. The first food to arrive was the chicken fingers. When Zaki saw that, he said “I'm hungry and I want that.”  Syafiq maintained that he didn’t want the chicken but I saw him eating some.

Zara didn’t finished her Carbonara because she was busy trying all the drinks. After taking few sipped of her drinks, she didn’t want it anymore because it was too sourish. She was eyeing her dad’s drink and so I swapped their drinks. Still the lime juice is too sour for her. Ended up she only drank warm water.

Amir as usual finished his food and in fact ate others food too.  This boy really has a healthy appetite. Need to control else he will be growing horizontal instead of vertical. For my food, it was okay and so was my hubby chicken mushroom.

Nobody touch the pizza and we asked the waitress to pack the pizza and Zara’s Carbonara. Overall, the dinner went well and Pizza San Francisco in Bangi is the nice place to go for family dinner. Parking is easy to get and the area also not so crowded. If you happened to come to Bangi, you can try to eat at Pizza San Francisco.

Okay…Chiao first. Salam.

Our experience with Tutti Frutti

Hey Folks! Tutti Frutti is now in Bangi, to be specific Seri Bangi. They just opened there about three weeks ago. Do you know what is Tutti Fruitti? It is a frozen yogurt.

Since Tutti Frutti put up a banner in front of the shop lot, my husband has been talking about going to Tutti Frutti. So last Friday, after the Friday prayer, he told us to get ready to go out. As usual he will not tell me the whole thing.

As we left the house instead of turning to the usual road that will take us to highway, he turned the car towards Bangi. "Aiii.. where are we going? Thought we heading to Klang?" I asked him. He didn't replied but Amir said, "Tutti Frutti la tu"

True enough, he took us to Tutti Frutti and I looked at him. "Can I stay in the car?" He said, "Nope," and switched off the car engine. I have no choice but to follow them to the shop. When we reached there, the place was packed and most of the tables were taken but I managed to secure one table outside at the pavement.

My hubby walked into the shop and a short while later, I saw him walking back towards me. I went to him thinking that he managed to grab a table in the shop but it was not. Instead he asked me to order the yogurt. I looked at him and whispered to him, " You wanted to come here, why don't you asked the girl there?" As usual, when it comes to new place or new area, he will leave it to me to handle it.

The girl was very helpful. She told us this is a self serving outlet and the machine is on the wall. Just select what flavour that we want and can top up with fruits or chocolate. She pointed us the cup and the smallest cup,in my opinion, is equivalent to the biggest Baskin Robbin's cup. The kids were very excited and Zaki wanted the biggest cup but I told him no. So everyone took the smallest cup each and when it come to the yogurt they don't know what to choose. So after debating, they decided they wanted vanilla flavour and chocolate. The kids were having fun pressing the yogurt machine. I forgot to warn them that this is not ice-cream but hey, let them find out the taste themselves.

Looking at the amount that they have in the cup, I was worried. Not sure how much it going to cost me but I know it going to be expensive. True enough when the cashier weighed up all the yogurt, it cost me RM88.00. The price stated on the wall RM5.30 per 100gm.

The kids were so happy and eager to eat it but after few spoon of vanilla and cholocate yogurt, the said enough.  It was not as they expected but for me I like it. Since three kids abandoned their yogurt, I looked at my husband. "You have to finish that," pointing to Zaki's and Amir's yogurt. "I will finish up Zara's." He looked at Syafid and asked Syafiq to help him. We did finished the yogurt but not all in the shop. Some we have to take it back with us.

Since my kids don't like it, I don't think I will go again unless someone want to belanja me. But if you want to try, please go. I can guarantee you will like it. So what are you waiting for?. Go and try the Tutti Frutti now- salam.

Happy but not really happy.

My empty living room
I blogged about my new house last week. You can read it here. We have been here for 2 weeks but we are still unpacking our things. But one thing for sure, my new house is empty. There is no sofa in the living or family area, no dining table and my fridge is also empty. Well to say it is totally empty is not right either as we do have some chairs that we brought with us from our old house.

My brand new kitchen is also fully equipped. Ready for me to show off my cooking skill but I can't because the pots and pans are still at the old house. I need to get my hubby to bring it back to Bangi so that I can start practicing my cooking skill again. Not that I'm a great cook but I'm kind of sick eating outside.
My garden

I like my new place. The neighborhood is quite and clean. The only thing that I don't like is the network coverage. The 3G coverage really sucks. I can only get the 3G network if I call from outside my house or when I'm in my room. Because of this, I cannot access twitter or FB from my phone anytime I like. Every time I want to access twitter or FB, I have to strategically find a spot where I can get the signal. This really frustrated me. There are also times when I'm at the kitchen, I cannot make or received calls. Did I complaint to the service provider? Yes I did but so far, no improvement.

My friend, who came over to visit me commented that the network coverage by the Service Provider is very bad in Section 7. It is common knowledge to everyone but not sure why nothing has been done to improve the services. I guess there is an alternative service providers that they can subscribe too. But for me, I love my current service provider. I want them to improve the network coverage. I don't want to jump to another service provider. Sheessh, some of you may know why I love the service provider very much.

I hope it will improve soon and btw, when will UNIFI be available at my area? I am so green with jealousy when BFF has UNIFI installed at her place. Dear UNIFI service provider, please expedite your rollout to Bangi. Love, me.

Okaylah. Enough of rambling from me...See you soon. Salam.
