Ughh… So far, it has not been a good week for me. In fact, it started since Saturday last week. I was stuck in the stupid traffic jam for hours on Saturday. Maybe people were still in Hari Raya mood, and lots of people were hosting open house. So they would be going from one house to another in their cars, and clogged KL roads. Well it's free food, so enjoy it while it last. Hei! Hei! Makan, jangan tak makan!
Because of the traffic jam, my poor son, Syafiq, has to wait for us for almost one hour at Ara Damansara, and he was alone. After we had fetched him, we headed to Ikea, and for once, it was not that crowded. We managed to get parking easily.
But my joy was short lived. On the way to my car, I slipped and fell down at Ikea’s parking. Luckily there were not many cars or people. Zaki who was with me, saw me fell, and he quickly said,” Don’t move.” He ran, and called the rest.
When the rest of the kids came, I already stand up. Heh! I would not lie down on the dirty floor and embarrassed myself. Eventhough it hurts my butt and shoulder, but it was not so bad.
On Sunday night, we went out for dinner and groceries. The kids wanted KFC, and the best place to go was Warta, since Giant and KFC are in the same building. Parking was also easy to get. When we reached KFC, there was a long queue at KFC, but the restaurant was basically empty.
Since I have few KFC discounts coupon from Hotlink, we decided to use that. The coupon entitled us to have 5 pieces of chicken, 2 burgers and drinks. When it was our turn, the guy told my son that the burgers are not available because they had run out of the bun. Furthermore, there were only 4 pieces of chicken left, and we had to wait for 30minutes if we wanted more. “OK,” I said, and by the time, the chicken ready, it was almost 10.00pm.
I thought my nightmare would end on Sunday night, but on Monday, it was worse. I was stuck in the traffic jam for more than 1hr 30min. The traffic jam was due to dress rehearsal for Malaysia Day, which is on 16th September. The traffic jam started before the Sg Besi Tol, and knowing that I would be late for work, I text my bosses. Heh! I was not the only one. One of my bosses were also caught in the jam. In fact, the whole KL was caught in the Monday morning jam.
And, my bad luck continued on Monday night too. I was stuck in the office until 8.10pm with Mr. Han to run through some financial numbers, while my family was waiting for me at home to visit our neighbors. When I reached home at 9pm, I just dumped my bags and laptop and went out with them. I didn’t get a chance to freshen myself.
And today, I was caught in another bad traffic jam, but this time it was due to a very heavy rain. Since I was fasting, I thought of leaving the office around 5.45pm, but there was no way I could leave my office in heavy rain. I only left office after 6pm, and by then the traffic jam was already started.
Since I have to fetch Syafiq from his friend’s house, I didn’t make it in time to break my fast at home. So, I decided to break my fast at McDonald with Syafiq. If the other three kids know about this, they would demand I took them to McDonald too. Sheesshhh, Don’t tell them, okay!
Oh! I’m not sure how Wednesday going to be, but looking at my to-do list and my calendar, it going to be another busy day. What about you? Are your days better than mine? I hope so.
Salam.

Tired, Sleepy and Floating
I didn’t blog yesterday because I was too tired and sleepy until I felt like my body floating. I only had about 8 hours of sleep in two days. On top of that, there were so many things I need to do yesterday in the office, until I had to continue to do work at home.
I seldom brought back my laptop home since my back problem gotten worse. But because the bosses need the information urgently last night, I have no choice but to drag my laptop. Poor me!
I told my boss that if I didn’t come to work today, it means that my back had a problem. He has a cheek to ask me what’s wrong with my back, even though he knows that I have been having slipped disc. I felt like ‘cekiking’ him, but I didn’t. I just walked off and packed my things because I was already late to pick up my son from his Math tuition class.
I thought I could reach my son with 45 minutes, but I was wrong. The traffic jam was really bad. I was stuck at NPE for almost 45minutes, and another 30 minutes on KL-Seremban Highway. Because I was really late, the teacher was kind enough to send my son to Saujana Impian. It saved me another 10 minutes drives. I was told by my son that the road leading to his teacher’s house was also jam. Phew! Otherwise, I would be breaking my fast in the car.
After the buka puasa, I told my kids not to disturb me as I had work to do. Lucky they were tired too, so they didn’t disturb me that much.
Huh! I thought I could finish my work in one hour, but Allah has a different plan for me. Instead of doing my work, Allah asked me to rest. How come? It was because I can’t get connected to the SAP system to check on the figures. I tried and tried and tried until I gave up. I SMS my boss, and told him that I would submit it in the morning.
Since I was too tired, I didn’t hear the alarm clock this morning. When my hubby woke me up at 5am for sahur, everything was ready. Hehe! I only help to clean and wash the dishes. Best thing was I got to continue to sleep after my Subuh prayer too, and hubby get the kids ready for school.
But damn! I’m still tired.

Bad Monday!
What a day today! I have more bad things happened to me today than good things, and I hope it is not a precedence for this week.
It started early in the morning after my morning prayer. I was about to sit at my study table when the chair moved, and what else, bedebum la….. I fell, and I was lucky that my head didn’t hit the floor.
I was stunned and didn’t move for about five minutes. I felt shooting pain on my right leg also on my arm, but it didn’t last long. I got up and walked slowly down to the kitchen. I didn’t feel any pain then, but when I was caught in the massive jam, I felt slight pain in my back.
Oh ye, talking about the massive jam this morning it took me two and the half- hour to reach office. I could have reach Johor if I go down south.
The jam started from the Serdang R&R. It was all due to the closure of SMART Tunnel. It seems like SMART Tunnel has become very important to all who comes from South heading toward city center.
While caught in the jam, I was glad that I checked twitter on the alternative route to KL. Based on the update, I took Maju Expressway to KL. It just took me seven minutes to get into East West Link. No traffic jam there. Yeay! Thanks to twitter, else it will take me three hours to reach office.
Eventhough, I was stuck in the jam, I was happy because someone called last Friday to inform me that he is sending my laptop back today. I was expecting a call from them in the morning, but when they didn’t call me, I politely SMS their boss, and five minutes later, the support engineer called and said he will give me a loaner laptop.
“What happened to my laptop?” I asked because I don’t want any loaner laptop. In fact, while my laptop was in the repair center, I had Chee Leong’s laptop with me.
The guy can’t answer, and I insisted that I talked to the boss. He understood why I needed my laptop, and he promised me that I would get my laptop in the evening.
At 3pm, the tech support brought my laptop. Yup physically it was the same, but when I switched it on, everything changed. The disk was set to the standard configuration and software. I feel sad. My familiar setting was gone, and what in front of me was a brand new thing.
It took me until 7pm to install my iTunes and some of my files, but somehow something is still missing. Maybe, I used to scattered my files on the screen, whereas this one looks very empty. Hmmm…maybe tomorrow I will mess it up, and try to bring the missing piece back to my laptop.
Wish me luck. Salam.

Please! Not another one....
Today, I left office quite late but I was not the last one. There were still quite a number of people in the office. Not that I was busy with work (anyway it was after 6.30pm) but I was busy checking for traffic summons online. There were two outstanding summons that I yet to settle. As I was trying to pay the summon via on-line, it didn't accept my cards. First I tried my favorite HSBC card, failed. Tried another card my faithful MBf's Lady Card, failed. I tried a few more times but every time, i got rejected and finally, I saw a message that one of the reason is that I must register for secure payment. Duh!
I called the bank customer service centre and they told me I need to register for internet banking. I tried to register, but when it requested for my pin number, hmmm...I quit because I can't remember where I keep the pin number.
By the time I went down to the lobby, it was already 7.30pm. As I reached the lobby, I saw the road was wet. I didn't realised it was raining earlier. It was not heavy but enough to get the road wet. I kind of worried because I don't want to be stuck in the jam.
But I was wrong. The traffic was good. I was speeding on the NPE until when I reached the exit to KL-Seremban Highway. I wondered what causing the cars to slow down. Then I saw police traffics what else, catching traffic offenders.
They were flagging those cars coming from KL, who were caught driving on the emergency lane, and asked them to stopped at the roadside. When they did this, they also stopped the cars coming from NPE. I didn't realized that they were doing that until, this young policeman stopped me.
I was panicked. Did I do anything wrong? Did I exceed the speed limit? So I thought of moving to the roadside when the policeman shouted at me. I signaled to him that I want to go to the roadside but he was grumbling and pointed to a taxi that was flagged down.
"Phew!!!" I said when I saw that. "Luckily it's not me. Kalau tak habislah aku," I said with relief. I can't afford to get another summon when I have two outstanding summons that I need to settle by tomorrow (24th Feb) if I want to enjoy the 50% discount. I guess I was lucky this time but tomorrow I have to settle the two summons online again or else, I will be poorer by RM450.
Wish me luck...salam.
